Blood testing

At Ultrasound Imaging N.I., we offer professional private blood testing in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Whether you’re investigating symptoms, monitoring an existing condition, checking your general health, or supporting fertility treatment, we provide access to an extensive range of laboratory blood tests without the need for a GP referral.

Your blood sample is collected by our experienced team in clinic before being sent to a UKAS-accredited laboratory for analysis. Results are returned electronically, allowing you to access accurate, high-quality laboratory testing quickly and conveniently.

Please note: turnaround times vary depending on the specific blood test or panel requested.

While we collect your sample and arrange the laboratory testing, Ultrasound Imaging N.I. does not interpret blood test results or provide a medical diagnosis. We recommend that all results are discussed with your GP or the healthcare professional managing your care, particularly if any results are outside the normal range or you have ongoing symptoms.

Non-Invasive Prenatal test (NIPT)

Why choose this blood test?

Our Non-Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT) combines an Early Reassurance & Well-being Ultrasound Scan with advanced genetic screening from a simple maternal blood sample. The NIPT then analyses cell-free fetal DNA to assess the risk of the most common chromosomal conditions, providing highly accurate results without any risk to your baby.
